The mining area in Kaunisvaara is becoming more and more complete. Roads for the convoyers soon have linked grizzly with the primary crusher and grizzly, where also the steel structure now is on construction,  will soon have "contact" with the stockpile.

It is also more and more staff in the mining area. About 450 person works here today and there is a swarm of vehicles on the field.

It is wonderful and excited mood, and it depends not only on the sun. The fact that the area more and more looks like a real mine field gives nice reward for those who during cold and winter darkness worked to complete construction.

Our communication manager, Niclas Dahlstrom set out with a camera and we offer here a really rich slideshow to show what is happening and has at the mining area in Kaunisvaara.

Nice watching!

In the slideshow above, you can see, in particular the construction of the Stockpile-top, how the units belonging to the process plant are under construction. You will also see the very first picture of our ore wagon.

We are glad to say that the construction of the mining area progress well!
